Mexico City will host the first Octli Party, an event dedicated to the traditional Mexican drink pulque. This free party combines ancient tradition with modern electronic music. The event will take place in the historic center of Mexico City at the pulquería La Burra Blanca del 56, located at Donceles 83. Guests will be able to taste natural pulque, various fruit-infused cocktails based on it, and beer. The musical lineup features five DJs performing for six consecutive hours. The organizers emphasize that this is more than just a party; it's a social project aimed at supporting the pulque producers, the tlachiqueros, who extract the sap from the agave plant. The goal of the event is to introduce a new generation to pulque culture in a contemporary setting and to establish the drink as a cultural meeting point.
